Pension Increase for April 2021

The Hackney Fund are pleased to announce the Pension Increase payable from 12 April 2021 is 0.5 %.

The rate is confirm by the Treasury, and is measured each year using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the 12 months to the previous September (ie. CPI rate at September 2020, to take effect April 2021).

Therefore, if your pension started on or before 27 April 2020, your pension will increase by 0.5 %. If your pension started between 28 April 2020 and 27 March 2021, you will receive a proportion of the 0.5% increase. Any pensions started on or after 28 March 2021, are not due a CPI increase until April 2022.

You will receive a letter at your home address, by the end of April, confirming your new monthly pension.
