​ Pension Increase for April 2023

The Hackney Fund are pleased to announce the Pension Increase payable from 10 April 2023 is 10.1 %.

The rate is confirm by the Treasury, and is measured each year using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the 12 months to the previous September (ie. CPI rate at September 2022, to take effect April 2023)

If you retired part way through the year, you won't get the full increase straightaway. The first increase to your pension after retirement (from active membership) will normally only be a proportion of the full increase, depending on how many months your pension has been in payment during the year.

You will receive a letter at your home address, by the end of April, confirming your new monthly pension.
